During the meeting of the Committee, held on November 20, 2013, it was noted that the bill (Reg. No. 3232) was elaborated in order to bring national legislation in line with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and other international legislative acts and in order to harmonize national legislation in regard to securing accessibility of social environment.
The bill suggests amend several laws of Ukraine – “On Fundamentals of Social Protection of the Disabled in Ukraine”, “On Local Self-Government in Ukraine”, “On Local State Administrations”, “On Transport”, “On Automobile Transport”, “On Local Electric Transport”, “On Railway Transport”, “On Road Movement”, as well as the Air Code of Ukraine and the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements.
